My art career began on a small island off the coast of Far North
Queensland. I believe that the brilliant colour of the Queensland
sun and landscape inspired the bold line, design and freedom of
my paintings. My works are derived from a wide range of subjects, both abstract and objective. I have a sense of play and am freely experimental with most mediums which is reflected in the paintings.
I have always been passionate about the French Fauve painters and my work has been influenced by their energy and use of vibrant colour.
The paintings have been shown at various regional exhibitions in Australia and they are hung in private and corporate collections worldwide.
